The "OleoCultura" company took the initiative to rebuild an old mill in Cordoba, initially built in 1874, to host the museum of olive oil. Aim of the museum is to make the process of olive oil production comprehensible to visitors. The exhibition includes machines used for the production of olive oil from Antiquity to the present day. In an attempt to promote locally produced olive oil, the "OleoCultura" company organizes group visits to the museum. Visitors can taste samples of olive oil and see how it is produced. A museum shop and a restaurant operate on the premises.
